Digital Immersion is a new programme designed to help publishers activate and accelerate their journey towards sustainable digital reader revenue. Created by FT Strategies in collaboration with industry experts, this interactive five day programme will guide publishers through a series of inspiration sessions, facilitated group discussions and guided activities to help drive reader engagement and build a future-proofed strategy.
The programme fuses strategic thinking with tactical action. Participants will leave with a clear strategic vision as well as a series of quick wins that can be implemented the moment the programme finishes. Starting with a digital reader revenue diagnostic we’ll guide publishers through the phases of the reader lifecycle: attraction, engaging, and monetising, with a focus on data.
Throughout the week participants will develop a galvanising goal, experiment with interventions to optimise customer engagement and understand how to start mobilising change across the organisation. Seeing the whole journey and focussing on areas for tactical improvement will have a tangible business benefit, with a community of alumni to continue the support and guidance after the week long programme is over.
Digital Immersion isn’t a theoretical course; it’s a best practice bootcamp, led by practitioners who have been on the digital reader revenue journey before and are ready to share their expertise to help activate & accelerate you and your organisation.
FT Strategies is a data and strategy consulting firm from the Financial Times that helps organisations innovate, strengthen customer engagement and build sustainable digital businesses. What makes us different? We’ve been there.
When digital disruption hit the news industry in 1999, the Financial Times had no digital presence. By 2019, we had over one million paid digital subscribers. We achieved this by refining our best-in-class capabilities in data, strategy and digital transformation over ten years - expertise we’re now sharing to help other businesses grow rapidly. It’s because of these capabilities that, during the coronavirus lockdown, our weekly page views went up 97% on last year and we hit our subscriptions goal for the entire year in three months.
We’ve helped companies around the world future-proof their businesses - and we can do the same for you.
